June 2008
One of the main goals of the membership committee is to provide you with suggestions that may help you grow active membership in your Chapter. This website contains valuable information and documents to help you accomplish your goal. We encourage you to carefully review the document and see what options or new ideas might work best for your Chapter. Our second goal is to be visible and available to you. A committee member would be happy to join you at a Chapter meeting and discuss ideas for increasing active membership. Please contact any one on the committee if you would like us to visit.
The state-wide membership meetings for the Stargazer's Year are scheduled:
Sunday November 16, 2008 - in the Central area, location TBD
Sunday March 1, 2008 at Dorothy Bradford Chapter, Hingham
Please mark these dates and invite theofficers, members and the Membership Representative from your chapter to attend. They will be informative and energetic afternoons where sharing of ideas will help spark the enthusiasm of your chapter membership goals. As the dates draw closer, the agenda for the meetings will be available.
